Delivery Information
Where possible we offer 2 types of delivery service:
Standard Delivery
Usually Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery, normally 1-2 days non-guaranteed. On the VERY RARE occasions that a parcel goes missing it still usually turns up within a week or so. Royal Mail will not investigate until 15 days have elapsed. This low cost service is available to all UK postcode destinations. Charges for remote areas are the same as for other areas. Your name and signature will be required on delivery.
Parcels must fall within specified size and weight restrictions. If a parcel is calculated as either too large or too heavy for this service we will offer Premier Delivery instead.
Calculated charges will include additional costs such as: packaging expenses; insurances; fuel surcharges; carrier collection charges.
Premier Delivery
This is an express service via a major national carrier service providing a next day service and an online parcel tracking facility for most mainland UK areas. Although the service is non-guaranteed, delays are rare. Your name and signature will be required on delivery.
Deliveries to Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Isles, the Isle of Wight or the Isle of Man, the Orkney & Shetland Isles etc. etc. may take 2 - 6 days. Charges for these remote or offshore areas can be significantly higher.
Calculated charges will include additional costs such as: packaging expenses; insurances; fuel surcharges; carrier collection charges.
Delivery Arrangements
It is vitally important that all names and addresses given (especially the postcode) are accurate. Goods cannot be left unattended in sheds, outhouses, porches etc. If no one is available to receive the delivery goods at the specified address our carrier may leave a card giving a number to call for you to arrange for a later delivery or to collect the goods from a depot. Royal Mail depots are often (but not always) nearer than depots for express carriers.
We may insist that goods can only be delivered to the registered address for the credit or debit cardholder of the card used for payment.
In the unlikely event that you have not received the goods within 3 days (6 days for remote areas) of the date of delivery given in our delivery email (unless we have informed you otherwise) you should notify us immediately.
